If you’re just heading up to the Marion County Water Park for the day, you’ll have plenty of space to roam around the 71 acres that the park spans. The park has several points that overlook the Pearl River, and a boat ramp gives you access to get into the river. There is also a playground for the kiddos to get out their wiggles and three lighted ballparks where the whole family can tee up for a game of baseball, kickball, or another family favorite.
If you want to extend your trip in comfort, the Marion County Water park has six camper sites that are 20’x50′. All sites have full hook-ups with electricity, water, and sewage, as well as picnic tables and firepits. Sites are $22.00 a night. Go ahead and hitch up to bring your camper out for a weekend in the woods and off the grid.
For those who like to get back to the basics when they camp, there are primitive camping sites available for $10.00 a night. These sites include access to a picnic table, BBQ grill, firepit, and a restroom, though showers are currently unavailable.
