Can you believe that we are at the end of another year? I guess the old saying “The days are long but the years are short” is true! With only a few days until the end of the year, we have some ways for you to end 2021 and start 2022 on a positive note.
There is no better feeling than starting the new year being organized and ready for all that 2022 will offer. You don’t have to declutter your whole house. Start small with either a room or a category. If you are thinking to yourself, “That still sounds like a big task. I can’t do that!” Do a digital clean-out instead. Go through the thousands of emails or photos that are on your phone or computer.
Do Something Different
“New Year. New Me.” We have all heard that saying before, but if we actually meant it? If there has ever been something you wish you learned but never made time for it, now is the perfect opportunity! Whether it was painting, cooking, sewing, or playing an instrument, find a local class or search youtube for video tutorials and develop a new hobby.

Assess Your Life
Assessing your life doesn’t have to be a scary thing. It can be a good idea to take a step back and look at everything you have accomplished, ask yourself meaningful and goal-oriented questions, and a way to find out what isn’t sparking joy in your life. First, look at your goals from the beginning of 2021. Did you accomplish them? You may have surprised yourself and exceeded more than you realized. Second, spend some time taking a look inward. Don’t be critical of yourself but be honest. Is this where you want to be in your life? Are you living up to your values? Ask yourself the hard questions and then take steps to achieve them. Finally, set boundaries with people and other things that add stress to your life. Whether that is a relationship with a person, your phone, or just something you don’t want to do, learn how to take the steps you need to become better for yourself.
